CPC demonstrated our complete portfolio of single-use connectors for the biopharma, cell therapy, and gene therapy markets at Interphex 2025 in New York City. It was great to connect with existing customers, consultants, partners, and people who have never heard of CPC.
The most asked question of the week: “What’s new?” The answer - MicroCNX® Nano Series Connector – the smallest sterile connector on the market. With termination sizes of 1/16” and 1/8”, the Nano connector is perfect for small volume fluid transfer. This product joins the original MicroCNX, the MicroCNX ULT, and the MicroCNX Luer series connectors to provide a wide range of options for small-format aseptic connection technology.
We celebrated the smallest, “tiniest,” connector with a happy hour, serving Lemon Drop Mar-TINIs.
CPC’s Todd Andrews had a great conversation with Pharmaceutical Technology® Group on ‘Breaking Up the Octopus of Single-Use Systems’. Instead of giant tubing assemblies (‘The Octopus’), break it up into the common sub-assemblies and treat it like Lego® parts. Where there is a ‘T’ or a cross, add in the customized assembly (the Lego) at the point of use, instead of trying to determine what configuration you need ahead of time from the OEM. We rounded out day 2 with a Technical Theater presentation: Flow with Confidence:
Innovation that fosters flexibility and scale. We shared how single-use technology enables modularity. Modularity enables scale, flexibility, rapid redeployment, standardization, and most importantly, efficiency.
